Fraud Alert
Please be aware of a recent increase in fraudulent calls where scammers impersonate LES People’s Federal Credit Union and ask members to provide account, debit, or credit card information over the phone. These calls may appear to come from LES People’s Federal Credit Union, but they are not legitimate.
Common warning signs of fraud include:
- ✔️ A caller asking for personal or account information
- ✔️ Receiving a text message asking you to approve a transaction while you are on the call
- ✔️ Being asked to provide a verification code during the call
- ✔️ Being asked to change your mobile or online banking credentials
If you experience any of these situations, please hang up immediately and contact LES People’s Federal Credit Union directly using the official phone number.
Protect Your Debit and Credit Cards in Real Time
If suspicious activity is detected on your debit or credit card, we may contact you by phone, text, or email using the contact information we have on file. To ensure you receive these important alerts, please keep your contact information up to date.
You can easily review and update your information through the LES People’s FCU Mobile App. Simply go to the menu and scroll down until you see e~Alerts. From there, you can choose how you would like to be notified of any potentially fraudulent activity on your account.
